SinoPharm Group held talks with Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area

On October 8, 2022, Hu Jianwei, Deputy General Manager (in charge of operations) of Sinopharm Group, met in Beijing with Yang Xiuling, Secretary of the Working Committee of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area, and Kong Lei, Director of the Management Committee, and their delegation.

On behalf of Chairman Liu Jingzhen, Deputy General Manager Hu Jianwei expressed gratitude for the Beijing Economic Development Zone's long-term support for Sinopharm Group and its subsidiaries in the zone. He gave a brief overview of the group's latest development and stated that Sinopharm Group would, building on its existing foundation, further expand its all-around cooperation with the Beijing Economic Development Zone in pharmaceutical manufacturing, R&D, trade, investment, and finance. He expressed hope that both sides would achieve more fruitful results and jointly create new cooperation highlights.

Secretary Yang Xiuling thanked Sinopharm Group for its positive contribution to the biopharmaceutical industry in the Beijing Economic Development Area and expressed appreciation for the group's business performance. She emphasized the hope that both sides would take this signing as a new starting point to achieve complementary resources, strong alliances, and synergistic development. The Economic Development Zone will actively implement Secretary Cai Qi's instructions, providing quality services and policy support for Sinopharm Group's projects in the zone to promote a deeper and closer cooperative relationship between the two sides.

After the meeting, Li Yang, General Manager of Sinopharm Group's Medical Device Business Department, and Zhang Peng, General Manager of Yizhuang Guotou, signed a framework cooperation agreement. Sinopharm Group Deputy General Managers Deng Jindong and Dong Zengh, key personnel from Sinopharm Holding and Sinopharm Investment, relevant department heads from the group headquarters, and relevant department heads and key personnel from Yizhuang Investment in the Beijing Economic Development Area attended the event.
