National Pharmaceutical Equipment was invited to participate in the 2022 Digital Development Conference for Pharmaceuticals and deliver a keynote speech

To advance the construction of a digital government in the field of drug supervision and promote the rapid development of the digital economy in the pharmaceutical industry, the "2022 Drug Digital Development Conference," hosted by the National Medical Products Administration Information Center (China Food and Drug Administration Data Center), was successfully held from December 22 to 23.

The conference, themed "Building a Digital Drug Administration, Empowering Industrial Transformation," invited various parties to conduct in-depth exchanges on new experiences in digital government construction and smart supervision at all levels of regulatory departments, in-depth discussions on new trends in the digital development of the pharmaceutical industry, in-depth exploration of new applications of big data, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things in the pharmaceutical field, and in-depth expansion of new platforms for industrial integration and development and social co-governance of supervision.

At the meeting, responsible comrades from relevant departments of the State Council's Office of Electronic Government Affairs, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, and the National Medical Products Administration introduced new requirements, explorations, and developments in the construction of digital drug supervision and empowerment of industrial transformation from different fields, focusing on digital government construction, pharmaceutical industry development planning, the Data Security Law, and vaccine production and testing.

Chen Feng, director of the National Medical Products Administration Information Center, delivered a release of typical cases of smart drug supervision and drug regulatory big data; He Yaqiong, director of the Consumer Goods Industry Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, gave an interpretation of the "14th Five-Year Plan" for the development of the pharmaceutical industry; Gao Tianbing, deputy director of the National Medical Products Administration Verification Center, gave an overview report on the inspection of the information systems of vaccine companies based on the "Technical Guidelines for Electronic Records of Vaccine Production and Testing" (Trial); Li Tao, member of the Party Leadership Group and deputy director of the Shandong Provincial Drug Administration, delivered a report on strengthening the construction of an integrated platform to effectively promote the digital transformation of regulatory methods; and Ouyang Nan, director of drug safety at the Yunnan Provincial Drug Administration, explained the promotion of smart supervision with "Drug Supervision Insight."

National Pharmaceutical and Medical Device actively seizes the opportunities of digital transformation

On the morning of the 23rd, the "Medical Device Industry Digital Development Symposium" invited regulators, industry experts, and corporate representatives to discuss on the same stage, conducting in-depth discussions from various aspects such as laws and regulations, smart supervision, unique identification, encouraging innovation, and industrial digital transformation, injecting new vitality into promoting the high-quality development of the medical device industry.

In terms of digitalization of business models, National Pharmaceutical and Medical Device uses internally integrated standardized data as a basis for horizontal integration with upstream and downstream links.
