Volunteer services in action: clearing snow and ice, warming hearts

With the arrival of a widespread cold wave, Wuhan experienced persistent low temperatures, rain, snow, and freezing weather. From February 3rd to 4th, Wuhan, the city of rivers and lakes, was truly a winter wonderland, and the Guoyao Building in Wuhan Biolake Innovation Park was also covered in a white blanket of snow.

While the snow brought beautiful scenery, it also caused inconvenience for employees' commutes. To quickly eliminate the impact of the snowfall and ensure safe and smooth commuting routes for employees, the China Scientific Instruments Hubei Co., Ltd. branch committee, seeing the snow as a call to action, mobilized company party members, cadres, and outstanding young people to carry out snow removal and de-icing activities. This fully demonstrated the role of grassroots party organizations as a fighting fortress and the vanguard and exemplary role of the vast number of party members, effectively transforming the achievements of thematic education into vivid practical actions.

Company leaders, cadres, and party members, armed with shovels, brooms, and other tools, braved the cold wind and snow to actively participate in the snow removal activities. Everyone cooperated and worked together with great enthusiasm. For severely icy sections of the road, the company contacted the property management department, which sent industrial salt to accelerate snow removal.

After a period of hard work battling the snow, the snow on the roads was effectively cleared. These safe pathways not only protected the safety of employees, but also strengthened the sense of public service and commitment to the people among party members and cadres, allowing the party flag to fly high on the front lines.
